Board of Directors
Our board of directors comes from all areas of Oldham County. They must be a resident of the county to serve. Their service is not compensated other than receiving lunch at one of the four board meetings held each year. The board has a conflict of interest policy in place with no issues arising.
The board approves the annual budget, reviews the annual report and tax returns. They are provided all of the financials enabling our board to self-audit our financial positions and statements.
Our board helps and reviews all fund raising successes and potential sources of new money.
From time to time, board members come and go.

Executive Director
TIMOTHY MOORE
Our director has been associated with Community Chest since the early 1990's as an advisory board member helping with tax filings, annual reports, IT questions, and more. After his retirement in 2020, he became an assistant director. His background is a BS in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, IT manager at two different real estate companies, and later a marketing/IT manager, trainer and public speaker.
In early 2024, he became the Executive Director and looks forward to helping Community Chest evolve into an agency with more diversified funding sources while retaining the outstanding services provided in the years preceding him.
His motto is "Progress... not Perfection".

Emeritus Board Member
ELIZABETH MARIA MOORE
Elizabeth joined Community Chest as the Executive Director in the 1994 as it branched away from the County Judge/Executive office. She worked closely with Metro United Way for multiple decades as well as The Mahan Foundation and others for funding. Her efforts allowed our agency to grow way beyond what was accomplished in the first 50 years of existence. Her background in nursing and personal experiences with family hardships gave her plenty of empathy and caring for the job. She was the director for 30 years and retired in 2024 after some health concerns prompted her to relish her tenure and go enjoy her retirement years.
In 2024, she became our highly respected Emeritus Board Member which gives the board and current director a direct connection to her 30 years of experience when needed.
Yes, Elizabeth and Timothy are married to each other... since 1981.
